الإعلام الجديد والتعليم عن بعد
ان مراحل التعليم متعددة فلم يعد مقصورا علي المدارس والجامعات او التعليم بالمراسلة او التعليم المفتوح بل اصبح للتعليم شكل اخر الا وهو التعليم عن بعد عن طريق الاتصال عبر الانترنت ، فبعد ان كان التعليم حضوريا اصبح التعليم عن بعد هو البديل خاصة مع فترة انتشار الامراض حيث تعد عملية التعليم عن بعد هي الحل البديل في ظل وجود كوفيد-19 مثلا في هذه الآونة ومن ثم اصبح التعليم عن بعد محط انظار الجميع علي الصعيد المحلي والعالمي ، والتعليم عن بعد يتأرجح بين القبول والرفض الي ان يعتاد عليه الناس وتقبله الامر الذي دفعنا الي مناقشة سلبيات وايجابيات التعليم عن بعد.
إيجابيات التعليم عديدة فمنها المرونة وهي بالطبع الميزة الرئيسية للتعلم الإلكتروني على عكس التعليم الحضوري ، لست مضطرًا إلى التخطيط ليومك بالكامل حول دراستك و التقيد بمواعيد ثابتة ، فالأمر متروك لك لتقرير متى وأين ومدة الدراسة ، كما يقدم التعليم عن بعد مساحة تعليمية هادئة وعائلية مع أرائك دون الالتزام بمكان الدراسة ومواعيدها ، تتمثل إحدى الفوائد الرئيسية للتعليم عبر الإنترنت في أن كل شيء يتم بشكل فوري حيث يمكن للمدرسين إنشاء التحديثات اللازمة وإبلاغها بسرعة بنفس السهولة التي يستطيع بها الطلاب تلقي هذه التغييرات والرسائل والرد عليها عبر الإنترنت دائمًا بنقرة واحدة على الفأرة ، إما من خلال خدمات رسائل الفيديو الفورية او رسائل البريد الالكترونية او برامج النت المستخدمة في هذا المجال ويمكن تقديم المحاضرات إلى آلاف الطلاب في وقت واحد ، اما من ناحية التكلفة فالبعض يري ان تكلفة تنفيذ التعلم عبر الإنترنت أقل بكثير من تكلفة التعليم التقليدي داخل حُجر الدارسة ، حيث يعد تعيين الفصول الدراسية وطباعة المواد الدراسية اللازمة والحضور المادي للمعلمين والاداريين في المحاضرات من المتطلبات الأساسية وبالتالي ، يتم تقليل تكلفة الطلاب بشكل كبير ، ويمكن التأكد من أن المزيد من الأموال التي ينفقونها يتم استثمارها في تحسين خدمات الانترنت وغني عن القول أن التعلم عن بعد يوفر بديلاً للتعلم الورقي ولا يتعين على الطلاب السفر من وإلى المحاضرات وخاصة لمن يتلقى تعليمه في الخارج ومع زيادة استقلالية المتعلم تأتي مسؤولية أكبر ، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالانضباط والتنظيم ومن الضروري فحص رسائل البريد الإلكتروني والاطلاع علي الجداول الزمنية للدراسة ، وإلا سيتخلف الطلاب سريعًا عن الركب مما يتطلب المزيد من متابعة البريد الالكتروني.
على الرغم من أن الدراسة في المنزل قد تخلق بيئة تعليمية أكثر راحة ، إلا أنه يُترك الطلاب بالطبع للتعامل مع الانترنت دون دعم وصداقة زملائهم ، ونتيجة لذلك ، يمكن أن يصبحوا محبطين وينقصهم التفاعل والاتكاك بين الطلاب مما يؤثر علي دافعية المتعلمين و غالبًا ما تكون مراكز التعليم عن بعد قليلة ومتباعدة ، لذا فإن المواجهات وجهاً لوجه نادرة جدًا وخاصة في ظل كوفيد-19 حيث تقدم مجموعات الشبكات الاجتماعية بديلاً مناسباً ولكن بطبيعة الحال سيشعر المتعلمون بشيء من الحرمان بشأن مناقشة الدروس سويا والتفاعل بين المعلم والمتعلم .
لا يروق التعلم عبر الإنترنت لجميع أنماط المتعلمين ، لذا قد يجد بعض الأشخاص أنهم لا يستمتعون بالتجربة فليس كل شخص مناسب للتعليم عن بعد ، على سبيل المثال ، سيتعين عليه التكيف مع النهج الجديد وقد يجد نفسه محبطًا بسهولة وبالمثل ، فإن المتعلمين الذين يشعرون أنهم يستفيدون بشدة من مراجعة المواد الدارسية في مجموعات صغيرة سيجدون العملية أكثر صعوبة.
